Where Lifelong Athletes Are Made

Our Why

At Lifelong Athlete, we understand the challenges athletes face in developing their skills while staying healthy. As former competitive athletes, we experienced firsthand the lack of early guidance in athletic development. Drawing on our careers as an Athletic Trainer and Strength & Conditioning Coach, we’ve created a program that emphasizes performance, injury prevention, and long-term health.

Our mission is to deliver personalized, functional strength training to athletes of all ages in Peterborough, Swanzey, and the surrounding areas. We take a holistic approach, addressing every key aspect of fitness to help athletes perform at their best throughout their careers and beyond. Whether you’re a young athlete, a seasoned competitor, or someone striving to stay active for life, Lifelong Athlete is here to support your goals with a safe and effective approach.

Meet the Team

  • Co-Founder

    ATC, CSCS, CFSC

Chris, a Peterborough native, founded Lifelong Athlete to give back to his community. After earning his Bachelor’s in Athletic Training from UNH, where he worked with Division I teams like Men’s Ice Hockey and Women’s Field Hockey, he returned to Peterborough as the athletic trainer at Conval High School in 2015.

Chris has a passion for helping student-athletes understand the importance of health and fitness, both in sports and life. With years of experience in injury prevention, he’s developed strategies to reduce injury risk, which he incorporates into his assessments and programs.

In addition to leading Lifelong Athlete, Chris is a Certified Athletic Trainer, a Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a Functional Strength Coach, licensed through the State of New Hampshire.

  • Director of Performance

    MS, CSCS

Jon grew up in Antrim and graduated from Conval in 2005, where he played hockey for four years. He went on to play two seasons of college hockey at Becker College in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Jon’s career in athletic performance has included roles as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at UNH, working with teams like Men’s Soccer, Women’s Lacrosse, Gymnastics, and Track & Field, as well as high-level hockey programs. He’s trained professional players at Prentiss Hockey Performance and worked as the Assistant Director of Performance at Bando Performance in Woburn, Massachusetts.

In addition to his work at Lifelong Athlete, Jon is an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at Keene State College, where he works with the Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey teams. He holds a Master’s in Kinesiology from UNH and certifications in strength and conditioning, functional movement screening, and mobility training.

  • Personal Trainer

    CPT, CFSC

Christine grew up in Hancock and graduated from Conval in 2023, where she first began exploring the world of sports medicine. She interned with Chris in the athletic training room and at the orthopedic office at Monadnock Community Hospital. These experiences gave her valuable insights into injury treatment and prevention. During this time, she developed a deeper passion for injury prevention, recognizing the power of proactive care over reactive treatment. This realization inspired Christine to shift her focus from rehabilitation to helping individuals build stronger, more resilient bodies before issues arise.

Christine is certified as a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is also a Certified Functional Strength Coach.
